Five years ago, this was just a vision—it was a dream.
Like many dreams, it didn’t happen overnight. It took years of planning, hard work, long shifts away from home, countless weekends of renovations, learning new skills, making sacrifices, and believing that one day I could create a place and experience where people could escape from the busy pace of everyday life and simply enjoy being.
Every improvement, every outdoor space, and every little detail has been carefully chosen with one goal in mind: creating a place where memories are made.
Candle Lake is home. I have created my own little piece of paradise. My happy place. It’s where I come to recharge, slow down, enjoy the fresh air, spend time on the water, and appreciate everything this beautiful area has to offer. I wanted to share that feeling and experience with others.
That’s why this isn’t just a cabin rental.
It’s an experience.
Whether you’re relaxing in the sauna or hot tub after a day on the lake, enjoying a quiet morning coffee while reading in the hammock or on the deck, roasting marshmallows around the fire, exploring the lake on a kayak, cruising on the pontoon boat, or making unforgettable memories on the Sea-Doos and other water toys, my hope is that your stay is filled with laughter, adventure, and moments you’ll remember long after you’ve gone home.
My goal has always been simple: to create a place where families reconnect, friends celebrate, couples unwind, and everyone leaves feeling a little happier than when they arrived.
